What to expect

Getting to the centre

When you arrive at Putlands Sports and Leisure Centre, you’ll find everything clearly signposted to help you get to where you need to go.

If you’re driving, there’s on-site parking available for up to 3 hours.

If you're travelling by public transport, there is a bus stop conveniently located nearby, making it easy to reach the centre via bus.  Several local bus services serve Paddock Wood town centre and the railway station. From the town centre/station, it's a short walk along Maidstone Road and Mascalls Court Road to the centre.

For those cycling in, bicycle racks are available outside the centre so you can securely lock up your bike during your visit.

Head inside and you’ll find reception right at the main entrance — this is your first stop for checking in, asking questions, or getting pointed in the right direction by our friendly reception team.

From there, follow the signage to make your way to the gym, sports hall, or studios depending on what you’re here for. If you're unsure where to go, a member of our team will be happy to help.

Gym & Classes Information

Gym

Whether you're here for your first workout or you're a seasoned gym-goer, getting started with us is simple.

When you arrive, check in at reception and have your membership details ready if you're already a member. Our team will be happy to help if you need any assistance finding your way around.

Before your workout, you can use the dry changing facilities located close to the gym. Lockers are available for your belongings – just remember to bring a padlock. Showers, toilets and hair dryers are also available should you need them before or after your session.

If it's your first visit to the gym, don't worry. Our team is always on hand to answer questions and help you feel comfortable using the facilities.

Parking is available on site for up to 3 hours.

Workout Classes

Arriving a few minutes before your class starts will give you plenty of time to get settled, meet your instructor, and prepare for your session.

After checking in at reception, head to the studio or activity area listed on your booking confirmation. If you're not sure where your class is taking place, a member of our team will be happy to help.

You can make use of the changing rooms and lockers before your class, and showers are available if you'd like to freshen up afterwards.

We offer a wide range of workout classes to suit all fitness levels and interests, including Pilates, barre, HIIT, indoor cycling and more.

If it's your first class, there's no need to worry. Your instructor will explain everything you need to know, help you get set up, and make sure you feel comfortable before the session begins.

Whether you're trying something new or returning to a favourite class, you'll be supported every step of the way.
